This is all very new to me, so I will try a test post. As the title suggests, I will write about stuff while balancing on my left side and looking back to my right. There will be several varieties of posts (I keep getting an image of fencing posts as I write this: picture a temporary fence post being tried for strength by a backhoe: thus trying a test post.)
I will have to learn some new words, phrases and jargon. However, I'll endeavor to keep the puns to a minimum.
Some of the topics will include observations about life as seen through my various windows. Others will be looking back at my life, and still others about English usage, rants at my favorite targets, and anything else I think might be interesting, funny, or just plain silly.
But mostly it will be about me, by me and for me. We used to call it keeping a "journal." I like that word better than "posting a blog."
But I'm putting the journal on the web so that someone will always be looking over my shoulder. Journal keepers have only one editor, and that one, for me, is in my heart. Read on if you wish, or exit as you will.
This is a bold step for a very private person.
Here ends post #1. I think the backhoe knocked it down.
